TOPIC: Step by Step Guide to Streamline Business Processes & Banish Waste in 3 days
ABSTRACT: One of the biggest operational challenges facing companies today are that they are encumbered by complex and inefficient business processes. Operational inefficiencies diminish not only a company’s product and service quality and customer experience but act as a major competitive disadvantage that gradually erodes a company’s competitive position. Business groups and functional teams perform local optimization of their functional areas, ignoring the cross-dependencies and bottlenecks in the overall business process or value stream of which they only perform a part. This presentation provides a 10-step proven blue print to conduct a “transformation Workshop” to streamline any business process into a lean, efficient, and optimized business process that on average is 25-50% more efficient and shorter than the baseline process. The methodology works regardless of the type of industry or business process. Case studies will be presented to demonstrate application of the methodology in real-world situations. Practical tips regarding keys to success and pitfalls to avoid in conduct of such transformation workshops will be shared.
