SPEAKER: Kazue Balint
BIO: Kazue Balint is Shamrock Foods company’s Senior Master Black Belt for the Business Process Improvement (BPI) Center of Excellence. Kazue has over 15 years experience in business process improvement in the Finance, Food Delivery and Manufacturing industries. Kazue received her Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications from American Express. Kazue received Master Black Belt certifications from American Express and Arizona State University Fulton School of Engineering. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Taxation from W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. She started her career as Tax Researcher and consultant with Arthur Andersen.
In her current role at Shamrock Foods company, she leads a team of process improvement professionals to move the company’s lean and process improvement culture forward. In addition to overseeing projects focused on improving the company’s food sales, manufacturing and distribution processes, she established an employer sponsored learning and development community called Continuous Improvement Council to disseminate process improvement culture throughout the organization.
In her spare time, Kazue plays classical music on the piano and violin and is an active member of the Phoenix Piano Club and Arizona Chamber Music Experience. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two golden retrievers, Emma and Charlie, who are also musical.
